You may also reply to, comment on and confirm received requests, by sending a response SMS, which will appear on your Facebook page in the form of a common reply.
- How to activate the Facebook SMS service
To activate the service, you’ll need to follow the following simple steps:

- enter Account Settings from your Facebook page,
- choose mobile,
- enable text notifications (unless a number is indicated in your account, first it will be required to add the number),
- send SMS with fb or f text to 32665 short number,
- enter the activation code received by a response SMS in the relevant small window appeared on your page,
- configure SMS-notification parameters (also, when during the day you want to receive notifications).
Facebook SMS
You’ll receive the following free SMS-notifications from Facebook:

- notifications about the messages sent to you,
- notifications about a friend request,
- notifications about confirmation of a friend request,
- notifications about the comments on your notes, links and photos,
- notifications about the posts on your wall,
- notifications about the tags on photos,
- notifications about a “poke”.
Besides the notifications, you may send response messages, leave comments on the notes or photos posted on the wall, confirm friend requests, as well as reply just by sending a response SMS.
